This initiative, funded by CONCO and implemented with the Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC), directly addresses concerns raised by the private sector regarding the impact of alien invasive plants on the Lusushwana River. The project has already trained and equipped 20 young volunteers to clear these water-thirsty plants and restore the catchment a critical step in safeguarding water for industrial and agricultural use.
